Cookie Policy
This is an English translation for information purposes. The binding version of this document is the Polish one — Polityka plików cookies. In case of any discrepancy, the Polish version prevails.
In short: this website does not track its users. We use no analytics or marketing cookies, no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels and no profiling tools. That is why we display no cookie consent banner — there is no consent we would have to ask for.

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device — a computer, a phone or a tablet. The website can read them later, for example in order to recognise a logged-in user, remember settings or count visits.
Cookies are usually divided into four groups: strictly necessary (without them the website does not work correctly), functional (they remember preferences), analytics (they measure traffic and user behaviour) and marketing (they build a profile for advertising purposes). Consent is required for all of them except the strictly necessary ones.
2. What we do not use
On expertwork.biz — on every publicly available page, including the home page, the specialisation pages, the job advertisements and the contact forms — we do not use:
- analytics or statistics cookies (including Google Analytics, Matomo, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity),
- marketing, advertising or remarketing cookies (including Meta Pixel, Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight Tag, TikTok Pixel),
- user profiling or behavioural advertising,
- embedded social media plug-ins (“Like” buttons, embedded posts),
- embedded maps, video players or other elements loaded from external services,
- content delivery networks (CDNs) for loading fonts, scripts or style sheets.
The website displays no cookie banner or consent window, because it stores no information on the user's device that would require such consent.
3. The cookies we do use
The only cookie present on the website supports logging in to the administration panel. It concerns solely the people who manage the content of the website and is not saved during ordinary browsing.

The cookie carries the HttpOnly flag (it is not accessible to scripts in the browser) and SameSite=Lax (it is not sent with requests from other sites). It contains no personal data — only a random session identifier.
Because this file is necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user (logging in to the panel), storing it does not require separate consent.
4. External resources
All resources needed to display the page — style sheets, scripts, graphics and fonts — are stored on and served from our own server. This means that while you browse the website your browser connects to no third party, and your IP address is not passed on to external providers.
In particular, the Sora, Inter and JetBrains Mono typefaces (released under the SIL Open Font License 1.1) are hosted locally and are not loaded from Google Fonts.
5. Server logs
Independently of cookies, the hosting server automatically records technical access logs. These are not cookies and they are not stored on your device.
- Scope: IP address, date and time of the request, the address of the requested page, browser and operating system type, referring page address, server response code.
- Purpose: ensuring the security and correct operation of the website, error diagnostics, prevention of abuse.
- Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — the legitimate interest of the Controller.
- Storage period: in line with the hosting provider's configuration, for the period necessary for the purposes indicated.
- The logs are not used for marketing analytics, profile building or identifying particular individuals.
6. How to manage cookies
You manage cookie settings in your browser. You can review, delete and block them — entirely or for selected sites. The relevant options are usually found in the browser settings, in the section on privacy or site data:
- Google Chrome: Settings › Privacy and security › Third-party cookies / Cookies and other site data
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data
- Microsoft Edge: Settings › Cookies and site permissions
- Safari: Settings › Privacy
Blocking cookies will not affect your ability to browse the website or to send a contact form. It will, however, prevent the people who manage it from logging in to the administration panel.
7. Legal basis
The rules on the use of cookies are set out in Article 399 of the Act of 12 July 2024 — Electronic Communications Law (Journal of Laws, item 1221), which as of 10 November 2024 replaced the Telecommunications Law in this respect. That provision requires the user's prior consent to store information on their terminal equipment and to access information already stored there, except where this is necessary to transmit a communication or to provide a service requested by the user.
To the extent that data from cookies or logs constitutes personal data, it is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) — the details are described in our Privacy Policy.
If this changes, we will say so in advance. Should we decide in the future to introduce analytics or marketing tools, we will provide a consent mechanism with an equally accessible option to refuse before they go live, and the scripts of those tools will not load before consent is given. This policy will then be updated.
8. Changes and contact
The Controller may update this Policy. The current version is always available on the website together with the date from which it applies.
